The 2016 Haas UMC-750SS is a high-performance 5-axis universal machining center with 30" x 20" x 20" travels, a 30 HP / 15,000 RPM inline direct-drive spindle, 40-taper tooling, and a 30-station side-mount tool changer for fast chip-to-chip times. Equipped with coolant-through-spindle and an integrated dual-axis trunnion table supporting up to 660 lbs, it handles simultaneous 5-axis and 3+2 positioning work for aerospace, medical, and precision job shop applications. This machine also includes the Midaco 19-pallet changer system (a $125,000 option), dramatically increasing throughput and enabling lights-out production across long unattended runs.
